Our Organisation
The International Water Association (IWA) aims to inspire change and service IWA members, the community of professionals concerned with water, external organisation and opinion leaders in being the international reference and global source of knowledge, experience and leadership for sustainable urban and basin-related water solutions.
Our YWP
The IWA Young Water Professionals (YWP) UK steering committee is a volunteer representative body of selected young IWA members (35 and below) which actively pursues and communicates opportunities to network on a local and global scale.
It aims to achieve this purpose through the following activities:
- To coordinate one annual event in-person conference in the UK, organised by YWP for the attendance of YWP, the IWA YWP UK Conference.
- To promote opportunities for collaboration and exchange between the UK and globally, including opportunities for active participation of the IWA YWP UK in IWA events, such as the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition, the IWA Water and Development Congress and the Digital Water Summit.
- To represent IWA YWP members to provide feedback and advice to help ensure the IWA are able to attract and serve its YWP members.

Our Conference
Since 2000, the IWA UK National Committee, together with the support of various sponsors, has developed events for young professionals within the water sector.
