Part of the IWA’s global network, YWP UK brings together professionals from across the water sector, including utilities, regulators, contractors, suppliers, and academia, for three days of knowledge sharing, career development, and networking.

The 26th IWA UK Young Water Professionals Conference will be held this summer at the Leonardo Royal Hotel right at Brighton's waterfront. With its scenic sea views, Brighton provides a perfect location for our 3 days of learning and networking. This is a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders, gain fresh insights, and connect with like-minded peers.
Who is this event aimed at?:
- Those new to the industry (within the last 10 years) regardless of age
- Young Water Professionals looking to progress in their career
- Those interested in gaining wider industry knowledge
What to expect:
The event will provide the opportunity to:
- Network with industry colleagues over 3 days of activities;
- Attend a choice of workshops;
- “Meet the Leaders” in small-group networking sessions with senior industry leaders;
- Hear inspiring Keynotes from senior industry leaders;
- Gain wider industry knowledge via our Young Water Professional Speaker and Poster presentation competitions;
- Strengthen your new connections in our evening socials (including a gala dinner and an evening social);
- Attend one of our site visits to find out more about parts of the water industry that you may not know about;
